Sponsor a child At Nampala Foundation Volunteers

Nampala foundation volunteers always encourage supporters in any way. Whether you own a company and you want to support our charity, whether you are an individual thinking of undertaking a challenge, such as running a marathon and raising the funds for charity, or whether you wish to form a charity group.

Adopt a child At Nampala Foundation Volunteers

To enable us to provide services for these vulnerable children, NFV has started an “Adopt a child partnership” program. This provides an opportunity for those who are interested in supporting this work to take financial responsibilities for one or more children in our foundation $2 pre day, or $60 per month, or $720 per year, this will provide all the costs associated with caring for the children who are in the foundation each month.

Immediate Needs At Nampala Foundation Volunteers

The children need a full time person- we call such a person a ’matron’ here in Uganda, that is responsible for the daily personal needs of our children hygiene, medication, emotional needs etc. the cook is always there to cook for the children breakfast, lunch and supper. She cooks even for the teachers. Your American or Canadian dollar, euro, or British pounds can do some very powerful things here for us in Uganda.

WELCOME TO NAMPALA FOUNDATION
VOLUNTEERS-UGANDA

We deliver services that aim at Empowering Communities

The Nampala Foundation Volunteers began 2008 as a community based initiative to support children orphaned by HIV/AIDs and other ailments in Kaluuba and Lubali Villages in Mayuge district of Eastern Uganda. At present the foundation is running a primary school (with hopes of expanding to include a secondary school, vocational centre, orphanage centre, health centre and demonstration farms with your help.) based on formal primary education and Christianity. NFV is managed by a small yet very active, board of directors, all who share a deep passion for the needs of our children and the community in general.

Our History

After the death of one Nampala. W. James who had volunteered and started a project of “shinning star Nursery and Primary school” in the year 2005 teaching from his compound to educate the vulnerable and orphans. He started with 15 children and by the time of his death, the number had reached 80 children.Seeing their suffering and with no adult to care, a small community based organization was formed in the name of “Nampala Foundation Volunteers” to continue helping these children survive.

Empowering Children and Communities for a Brighter Future.

A commitment is made to support each child by giving him or her strong educational foundation, a good time, self esteem and values, and to help them plan how they can earn a steady livelihood as a step towards improving their standards of living. Besides, Our services go beyond Agriculture, Water and sanitation, Empowerment and and environment protection.
